Little Diamond Lake trip

Tula and TJ trip No. 3

       

When I made the reservation, I thought we had spot right on the lake. We didn't but to my surprise we had reserved a "deluxe pull through campsite".  Our very first pull through and what a treat!

The site was huge, 2 picnic tables, a large tent pad, space for chairs around a fire pit, and a separate space parking lane along side.  We couldn't have been more pleased, except that we seriously under-utilized the space with just the two if us.

The Little Diamond lake is more like a marsh with a swimming & fishing area.

  

We enjoyed the 3/4 mile challenge hike around the lake and the mosquitoes enjoyed me as their 5 pm snack - where did we put that mosquito repellent?

We had dinner at Mi Pueblo Mexican restaurant in Priest River Friday night.

Breakfast at Audrey's Restaurant on Saturday, enjoyed a trip inside the Cuppa Tea quilting shop in Priest River and then picked up groceries at Super 1 Food market in Old town.

No schedule, not pressure, just pure relaxation....reading, relaxing, thinking, and talking.

New experiences this trip ... we tried out the dinette table and shower.  I also drove TJ and Tula for a bit.  Not too bad.

We are searching for our next next week end get-a-away experience.
